As a health and wellness professional, my interest is in employee health promotion and the dynamics which make up a multidisciplinary program. My objective is to manage, evaluate, and improve upon corporate health and wellness programs. I am capable of not only develop but facilitate health promotion programs and fitness classes. I want the opportunity to make an impact on the future health of our American Workforce.

In addition to my passion, I am a skilled customer service and retail professional with over 13 years experience in direct customer contact, merchandising, brand development, customer rapport.  My leadership skills have developed from over five years in various management and training experiences. I recently became certified as a health and wellness coach which will add to three years coaching clients, fitness participants, and employees.

Summary:  This job requires that I execute sales programs and marketing programs to achieve over 75% store goal. In doing so I build relationships with store management, customers and other vendors to maintain sales and accounts. I have the ability to work regional and fragrance markets independently and with sales representatives and managers. I am able to visually merchandise fragrance visuals, stock, and organize supplies. Summary: Under the supervision of the director of HealthyUNCG, an initiative which started after the implementation of the NC State Health Plan. I helped to co-develop and facilitate a research study which took TOPS a weight loss group and combined it with educational adult learning concepts and small group coaching. This study aims see and understand the effects coaching has on maintaining weight loss. Research will help to understand coaching effectiveness and relate to the return on investment health programs have on employee healthcare costs. Summary:  As a member of AmeriCorps, a national service organization which fights social injustice through literacy, health, and education I was selected over hundreds of applicants to utilize my skills and education for the 2009-2010 fiscal year. The year provided me the opportunity to refine proposal and write grants for several state and federal grants aimed to support program-related endeavors, such as Reach out & Read and Office of Women’s Health (Bodyworks). I utilized adult learning techniques to encourage healthy lifestyle changes among adult participants. I primarily educated individuals in the community and clinical setting on prevention, management, and intervention of obesity, diabetes, hypertension, smoking cessation, and lead poisoning.
